This book was conceived by its authors-professors of Strategy at Deusto Business School (DBS), part of the University of Deusto, and members of the School of Management created by Antonio Freije-as a practical companion to the study of Strategy. In the construction industry, there is the ACS case; and in the restaurant services sector industry we included the purchase of La Nevera Roja by Just Eat. The hospitality industry is present in the NH Hoteles case. Finally, and in light of the recent global pandemic, the book also explores topics of interest in the biotechnology industry, such as the Pfizer / BioNTech alliance, the spectacular growth of Grifols, or the purchase of Pharmasset by Gilead.This book, born from the student-teacher interaction inherent to teaching, is an interesting contribution for anyone who would like to further the study of strategy and learn about the reality of current companies in this field.
